Product description:

This motor is intended for use on the RA axis of mounts. It compensates for the Earth's rotation and keeps the star you have selected centred. The motor will operate for around 40 hours with the 9V battery supplied. The motor is attached at the point where the slow motion shaft for fine adjustment normally goes. A N / S setting allows it to be used in both the northern and the southern hemispheres.
