With the computerized GoTo system and hand controller, the Orion Sirius EQ-G makes a terrific upgrade into the high-tech realm of effortless, electronic object acquisition! For owners of the Orion Sirius EQ-G GoTo Mount whose version of the GoTo hand controller is 3.0 or greater, the GoTo hand controller's firmware can be updated over the internet.

Skywatcher is changing the interface on the newest version of the EQ-6 mount. You can find out here which EQMOD cable you require depending on which version of EQ-6 you have. If your mount has a DB9 interface (also known as a serial port, as found on older computers), these are the suitable EQMOD cables:

If you purchased your EQ-6 recently and it has the new interface panel (along with an RJ-45 male connector, similar to the EQ-6-R or the AZ-EQ-6), the cables listed below should fit this new version of the EQ-6. If your mount already has a USB interface on the panel, you do not need an additional cable. Simply identify the COM port using the device manager and set the baud rate to 115200. If you are in doubt, send us a picture of your mount's interface panel by email.
