The result is a mount for very demanding observers and astro photographers!

With the same precision stepper motors, like the top models of the Vixen SXD2 brings a new level of performance for this size mounts. The SXD2 is quieter and quieter in their tracking and the increased precision of the motors enables improved performance for long exposures in astrophotography.

This makes the SXD2 better than their predecessors and many other mount:

  • Precision stepper motors and micro-step motion control system: The heart of SXD2 the precision stepper motors, which provide better performance and responsiveness than previous models. The Micro-Step Motion Control System has powerful yet very quiet driving characteristics, which are implemented both in a fine movement and in a fast swing.

  • Large color LCD monitor: The Monitior of Starbook Ten has a 5-inch TFT Color Liquid Crystal Display with a high WVGA (800 × 480 pixels, 65,535 colors) resolution. In astronomical observations at night, the eyes of the observer the dark adapt. For this reason, the display can be changed to red backlight. However, you can turn this feature on or off freely choose if you want to take pictures with your equipment.
