Product description:

The Seben EQ EM10 is a sturdy mount with a comfortable 2-axis motorisation. It is ideally suitable for the visual observation with Newton telescopes up to 203mm (8”) (lightweight design), refractor telescopes up to 150mm (6”) as well as Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes and Maksutov telescopes.

Its stainless steel tripod is a big advantage in terms of vibrations compared to a standard aluminium tripod. Because of its 2-axis motorisation the Seben ED EM10 becomes a very useful gadget for usage in astrophotography, too. It’s a matter of course that the motor is incorporated into the housing of the mount so it doesn’t derange the outer design. Nonetheless you only have to loosen one screw of its quick release clutch to switch from motor driven usage to manual driven usage with the supplied hand wheels (if required).

Features

  • 2-axis drive with hand controller
  • Adjustable correction speed: 2x, 4x, 8x and 16x
  • Motor features a quick release clutch with extra hand wheels (Thus the mount can be driven manually if required)
  • User-friendly incorporation of the motor into the housing of the mount
  • Stainless steel tripod: Possesses a much better stability than you typically get from e.g. aluminium tripods
  • Pole Finder incorporated to be connected to the telescope with the wide-spread prism bracket - it’s thus suitable for most telescopes of the popular manufacturers
  • Suitable for northern and southern hemisphere (shift key)
