The focuser has been designed for Synta refractors.
This includes the Orion ED80, ED100 and ED120, plus Vixen's ED80FS and ED100SF. 114mm of focus travel and no slipping with a 4.5kg load capacity are the most important features of this excellent focuser. It offers very fine and very precise focusing.
The focuser is also freely rotatable.

Moonlite focusers have a very good reputation. All the parts subject to wear are made of hardened materials, and no soft aluminium is used. The workmanship is excellent. The focus travel is around 11cm. Depending on the telescope, the optical path may be a little too short. If necessary, an extender can be used:

The connection is the standard Synta type. This standard is used in almost all telescopes from China with apertures over 80mm. Some other well-known manufacturers, such as Orion, Celestron and Skywatcher, have also adopted this standard.
This focuser comes equipped with 2 parallel finder shoes. Thus, in addition to a standard finder
One can also mount an additional red dot finder in parallel.
