You will be advising customers on technical matters concerning amateur astronomy, in particular purchasing advice on telescopes and accessories. This advice will be by phone, email and also personally in the showroom. You will be working on a team of advisors and benefit from a lively mutual exchange of experience and knowledge. Depending on your particular interests and abilities, you will also take on other tasks - for example in marketing, product development or content management.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be

• giving professional advice to the customers about telescope systems and accessories over the entire spectrum of price and quality

• consultation by phone, email and personally in the showroom

• preparation of individual offers and conclusion of sales

• problem solving for customers after receipt of their purchases

• clarification of questions relating to orders, such as delivery or payment

• mutual training and knowledge exchange between technical advisors

• other tasks, depending on interests and skills

We expect

• extensive practical experience and knowledge of amateur astronomy

• English as your native language

• very good PC and Internet skills, including MS Office

• ideally, experience in specialist shops and/or in the field of astronomy or consumer optics

• strong customer fous and acquisition skills

• excellent teamwork skills
