This Dynamo dual beam LED astronomy red light torch is always ready for use and is indispensable when working in the dark. The red light has no adverse affect on the dark adaptation of your eyes and is particularly suitable for reading star maps and operating your telescope at night. The level of brightness can be selected (3 or 5 LEDs).

The special feature of this torch is the built-in dynamo. A crank can be used to generate electricity for the LEDs whenever required (1 min of cranking generates enough electricity for about 15 mins of use). This red light torch can also be charged via USB port and can also be used to charge a mobile phone with the right connector (e.g., for an emergency call). The torch frees you from having to depend on batteries once and for all; dead batteries on cold nights can now be a thing of the past.
