Pulsar’s observatories and observatory domes offer high manufacturing quality at a reasonable price. They are delivered in multiple sections and with all materials required for installation. Self-assembly is no problem for experienced DIYers.
Advantages at a glance:
- Top quality manufacturing from England
- Durable, weatherproof GRP material
- Efficient dispersal of thermal radiation
- Stable locking mechanism
- Simple, custom-made design
- Economical self-assembly
We also offer optional accessories:
- Motorised dome rotation
- Motorised dome opening
- Storage spaces (also known as bays). We recommend ordering these when placing your order. This not only saves on transportation costs, but also saves you having to cut the side of the observatory out yourself. Up to two bays are possible.
- Automatic operation via the internet possible
- Other colours available upon request (standard colour is white)
Required preparations: You require a level platform (concrete plate) as a foundation for the observatory dome. You can place the telescope in the observatory using a tripod, however a column pier is recommended as this saves a lot of space and reduces trip hazards.
The 2.7 metre dome is designed to accommodate SC-Telescopes with an aperture of up to 16 inches, including telescope accessories. SC-Telescopes, or Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, are ideally suited to observatories of this size due to their compact lens tubes. This also applies to other compact systems such as RC or RH telescopes.
Please note: Delivery is by freight forwarding only. The delivery costs depend on the delivery address. Please contact our customer service, we will make you an individual offer.
180 Euros will be added to the shipping costs for the expensive packaging and the pallet.
