A disadvantage of the closed tubes of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes is that they need to cool one or two hours. Only when the air to the outside temperature has adjusted inside the telescope, the turbulence in the tube come to a standstill. Astro The Cooler accelerates this process enormously in which the filtered air blows into the tube. You must plug the Astro Cool only in the focuser. The nozzle is configured so that the cool filtered air is not simply blown to the secondary mirror.
