Solar lens filter for observations in white light
- The filter film is tensioned flat between two aluminium rings.
- Freely adjustable tube clamps
- Suitable for all telescope models, with the exception of the Schiefspiegler, and for finderscopes and binoculars
The solar filter is securely fixed to the lens tube or dew shield using four polyamide threaded columns with precisely adjustable clamps. If required, for public tours for example, filters can be additionally secured so that they can only be removed through force.
ND5-thickness Baader-Planetarium AstroSolar filter films, which are well known for their excellent optical quality, are used for visual and photographic applications.
If damaged, the film can be easily replaced.
