Optical flip mirror
You can instantly switch the light path between two directions with the help of this immensely practical accessory. The two sockets allow, for example, the simultaneous mounting of an eyepiece and a digital camera using eyepiece projection. Depending on the eyepieces used, the system is virtually parfocal, so there is little or no need to refocus. In addition, the flip mirror comes equipped with a T2 male thread for accepting T-Rings for SLR cameras. Connection on the telescope side is made via a 50.8mm connector.
Technical data:
for eyepieces 31.7mm in diameter
connectors: 50.8mm telescope-side, 2x T-2 external thread, 2 x 31.7 mm eyepiece holders
Weight: 282g
Note: eyepiece projection possible in combination with camera adapter
Please note - Flip-mirrors are not suitable for use with Newtonian telescopes, as the focal point can no longer be reached. Their use on refractors or catadioptric systems - SCs, ACFs, Maksutovs - is no problem however.
