Omegon 8x50 finder scope - Find stars easier with illumination
The Omegon 8x50 finder scope lets you quickly and easily find the astronomical object you are looking for. A switch, including an adjustable brightness control, illuminates the fine crosshair in red light - so you not only see the object in the finder, but can also exactly centre it using the illuminated cross-hair. This then lets you see the object directly in the main telescope.

What is a small telescope useful for? Simple - it makes it particularly easy to locate astronomical objects. A 50mm aperture finder scope collects 51 times as much light as your naked eye alone - you will be able to see many objects directly when searching for them and be able to put them in the field of view of your main telescope.
High quality - solid metal bracket
Comfortable viewing is not only important for your telescope, but also for your finder scope. The bracket holds the finder scope about 10cm away from the main telescope and parallel to it, so you don't have to press your face on the freezing metal of the main telescope to use it. Sometimes simple ideas make a big difference!
Simply aligned to start locating objects
Quickly and accurately align the finder scope in its double bracket by means of the adjustment screws provided. 5 adjustment screws and a retaining spring will help you to make the alignment as straightforward and accurate as possible.

Not every eye is the same - set the optimum sharpness for your own eye using the achromatic front lens, for spectacle wearers too.
Doublet objective lens
The achromatic objective lens and the eyepiece of the Omegon advanced finder scope are both multi-coated, meaning reflections are significantly reduced and providing you with a high-contrast image in the finder scope. This is exactly the same way in which large achromatic refractors are built.
