Our AstroSolar TM film is based on a high-precision, crystal-clear film (not Mylar) which has been developed for scientific applications in nuclear and elementary particle research. This film is annealed, in a process specially developed by us, to be stress-free and thereby achieves absolute optical uniformity corresponding to 1/10 lambda plane-polished glass.
