The Baader Planetarium NV 110/220
The device consists of a star globe with 50 centimeters in diameter, made of plexiglass - almost black - but in a darkened room for the viewer transparent. The Planetarieumwird to order "handmade"
An interesting effect is that any observer can indeed look into the world, be perceived but not opposite, but sees only the black background with stars right page! This creates a very strong spatial impression.
The star globe consists, as seen in the second picture, of two halves, the upper half is removable. Inside an electrically powered Tellurium is mounted, showing the circulation of the Earth and moon around the sun.
You can demonstrate with the Baader Planetarium among other astronomical facts:
- Earth's orbit around the sun, origin of the seasons
- Orbit of the moon around the earth
- The origin of the moon phases, full moon and new moon
- The development of solar and lunar eclipses
- synodic and sidereal time
- The precession of the Earth's axis
- The visibility of the constellations, depending on the season
- The visibility of the constellations as a function of the location of the observer on the Earth
- The positions of the inner planets, the projection of the sky, etc.
By removing the solar sphere is a point light source.
In a darkened room or with a dome projection can be projected the stars of the celestial globe.
The globe is free to rotate in its holder, thus, the night sky for any date and any location on earth will be shown as a projected image.
Supplied with 60 constellation transparencies, the manual and a dust cover are included.
