The N optics Skywatcher 304/1500:

With this telescope, the observer is a huge opening for detailed deep sky observations. It is one of the largest telescopes of Newton Skywatcher and collects about 40% more light than a 254mm telescope. This not only bright and contrasting planetary observations are possible - the telescope shows its strength especially in the Deep Sky. While most can be seen in small telescopes, only the core regions of many galaxies, this telescope shows the spiral structures clearly visible. Globular clusters also have been raised in this giant is as fascinating objects, some will be presented over the entire field with many exploded stars.

The telescope has a diffraction-limited parabolic primary mirror and a center mark for accurate alignment of the optics. The thin spider vanes and the small secondary mirror provide an excellent high contrast. With the high resolving power in times of very fresh air, peace an extreme density of detail can be seen on planets. Although the telescope is one of the largest that can be placed on an equatorial mount, this lens is still easy to transport. The exact weight, please refer to the technical data. The solid 2-inch Crayford focuser offers even for very heavy eyepieces and cameras sufficient support. By the Pupil Focus feingänige it is easy to find the optimum focal point. With a focal ratio of f / 4.9 optics is ideal for astrophotography, the telescope allows very bright for this reason, short exposure times at sufficiently large field. With an optional coma corrector allows for up to the edge produce sharp photos.

The advantages at a glance:

  • very high light intensity thanks to 304mm aperture
  • High-contrast imaging through thin spider vanes and small secondary mirror
  • well suited for astrophotography because of very strong light optics
  • Diffraction-limited parabolic primary mirror

Delivery of optics:

  • Tube rings with mounting rail for easy mounting of optics
  • 9x50 finderscope
  • 2''Crayfordauszug

The Explorer in the PDS version will ship with a dual speed focuser. This provides a 1:10 ratio for delicate focussing, which is essential especially for astrophotography, but also brings great advantages for visual observation. To further optimize the system for astrophotography, the barrel length was compared to the P Explorer version shortens slightly enlarged and the secondary mirror in return.

The EQ-6 Pro SynScan GoTo:

This is the largest and most powerful mount from Skywatcher. It was specifically designed to be able to carry heavy telescope tubes to 18Kg stable and vibration free. This is the optimal condition for successful astrophotography, when it comes to a very precise running of the mount. She appears in white finish and already has a built GoTo. Hardly any other mount offers a better value for money than the EQ-6, which makes them so popular among amateur astronomers. The stepping motors in right ascension and declination of the ride, even at high speed, the GoTo objects in very quietly, so that the sleep of the neighbors to be disturbed in any way. By means of illuminated polar finder is a quick and effortless polar alignment for astrophotography possible.

Properties and control of mount:

  • GoTo hand box with a clear (even with gloves)
  • Red line display (dimmable) and red backlit buttons
  • 1, 2 or 3 star alignment possible
  • About 13 700 controlled objects
  • 25 own objects and set coordinate setting possible

  • Recalibrate the possible object
  • Updates available via the Internet
  • Control via PC (RS232)
  • Autoguiding via interface
  • Periodic Error Correction (for astrophotography)
  • Illuminated polar finder and adjustable via dials or constellation marking can
  • GPS function with optional supplementary module
  • Consumption and temperature display
  • Version 3
  • Viable to 18Kg (visually even slightly more)
