Their quality coatings give these eyepieces particularly high light transmission and the blackened lens edges reduce unwanted reflections. This means these eyepieces provide excellent contrast, compared to some other eyepieces. The rubber eye cup can be folded down and the excellent eye relief, of from 13mm to 18mm, makes these eyepieces also suitable for spectacle wearers. Image blurring aberrations, that produce fuzziness at the edge of the image, are largely minimized.
