João Martins

As a child, João was already seized by a passion for astronomy. Today, he passes on his knowledge: for example, with events for schools.

Initially he established himself in sales, later in the field of product development. His passion for astronomy had already seized him in his childhood when he bought his first telescope at the age of 8. He is a member of the Regulus amateur astronomy club, which maintains close contacts with FISUA, the physics society of the University of Aveiro. He is still an active amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. João loves to pass on the knowledge he has gained, for example by organizing telescope observing, at the invitation of schools.

At a young age, he had already begun to work in the astronomy field in the sales department and to support product development.
