Fair to learn
Review by ratav on 06.10.2019 05:19:11( 3 / 5 )
I've got this model for about 6 months.
I bought it as second hand at eBay.de for about €90,-. I assume it was manufactured at least 3 years before I got it. Anyways, it came in a good condition (a bit decolimated) and I have a really good time with it!
After reading sources for buying a decent telescope, I noticed that a good telescope is a combination of many parts: primary- and secondary- mirrors, apperture, eyepiece, focuser, weight, tripod, observation position, colimation etc.
In the end, I concluded that it makes not so much sense to invest a fair amount of money in a "good" average telescope and marry with it for years. For me, it makes sense to buy a minimal acceptable model that will allow you enjoy the sky, to learn how to operate it, to make your first and fair observations (moon, saturn and a binary star astrophotography see at my instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B3P5WehoE8B/), first try at astrophotography, colimation, eyepiece manipulation THEN after getting a deeper level of impression and a long list of improvement points from this device, you'll be able to invest in a €4k telescope and merry it for the next 15 years.
