The FCD-100 optical apochromatics are the gold standard amongst small and medium-sized aperture models. These three-element apochromats use special FCD-100 glass by Hoya, Japan and colour purity in these devices sets a new standard in this price range. The optical design achieves a polystrehl value of 0.97 - a value which represents very high correction.

This exceptional apochromat is a versatile device: the fast aperture ratio enables quick exposure times for astrophotography, the high image quality and exceptional contrast make broad observations as well as ultra clear planetary observations possible.

This telescope is extraordinary, Lightweight and compact: The dew cap can be inserted to create a very compact, transportable size.

The high-quality 2.5” Hexafoc drawtube with 1:10 reduction suit the high-quality optics. Thanks to its large, free diameter this drawtube does not cause vignetting for larger chip sizes, as can be the case with smaller drawtubes.
