This contemporary model is unique in its own way.
The base and half-meridian of this 43 cm tall model are manufactured in a special way. The half-meridian consists of 16 layers of hand-glued, natural beech wood. The base, also made of real beech wood, and the half-meridian are sealed with beeswax.
The result is a real wood frame that provides the perfect setting for this model's outstanding cartography. The 34 cm diameter globe features the latest National Geographic dual-image cartography - unlit for political and lit for physical.
