Comfortable high throughput routine microscopy:
The CX43 series of biological microscopes enables a comfortable seating position even during long periods of routine observation. The microscope stand is aligned to the anatomy of your hands and the optimal ergonomic position of the controls improves working efficiency. With the smallest movements, you can quickly set a sample with one hand whilst, with the other hand, adjust the focus and operate the stage. The microscope also has an optional camera port for digital imaging.

The CX43 microscope enable users to remain comfortable during long periods of routine microscopy observations. The microscope frame conforms to the user’s hands and the location of the control knobs maximize ergonomics to improve work efficiency. Users can quickly set a specimen with one hand, while adjusting the focus and operating the stage with the other hand with minimal movement. The microscope also features an optional camera port for digital imaging.

The CX43 universal condenser can handle a wide range of microscopy techniques and allows for future upgrades. Together with the nosepiece turret containing 5 objectives, multiple applications can be performed with a single microscope stand.
Illumination
Uniform illumination with consistent colour temperature
The CX43/CX33 LED illumination offers several advantages, both immediate and long-term: Daylight conditions, allowing specimens to be viewed in their natural colours. Consistent colour temperature at any brightness, so that no time is lost when you adjust the brightness. Long service life – 60.000 hours – with consistent brightness throughout the entire time.
Fixed Köhler illumination for comfortable viewing
The CX43 and CX33 microscopes have fixed Köhler illumination which provides the right level of illumination without having to adjust the condenser.

Ergonomically positioned focus knob
The low-positioned focus knob allows you to conduct your observations while your hands and forearms rest comfortably on the workbench. For observations at high magnification, the focusing stopper prevents a specimen from accidentally coming into contact with an objective.
Ergonomically designed stage and eyepieces
The CX43 and CX33 microscopes have features that ease long working hours in the lab:

- Visibility of the stage from the viewing position, makes it easy to adjust and review specimens

Distortion-free images thanks to excellent optical properties
The CX43 microscope can be used with plan achromats that deliver sharp, distortion-free images for a wide field of view. Specimens can be viewed clearly and with uniform illumination during routine observations.
The CX43 is compatible with all UIS2 objectives.

Magnification can be changed from 2X to 100X without needing to adjust the condenser lens.
Simple fluorescence observation
Fluorescence microscopy is simple and straightforward. Connect the compact fluorescent illuminator to the microscope stand and set the condenser turret to the FL position. The LED light source is pre-centred and has a long 60,000 hour life. Turn off the transmitted illumination by setting the condenser turret to the PL position to reduce the background noise caused by incidental light coming from the top of the condenser.
