THE NEW LEVEL OF THERMAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY

Built-In precision rangefinder

The integrated precision laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurement in two modes - single measurement and scan mode with an accuracy of +/- 1m up to a distance of 1km. Accurate distance measurements help to quickly determine the size of the area, the distance, and the type of terrain.

Highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor

The Axion XQ 384 x 288 @ 17 µm thermal imaging sensor with NETD 40 mK delivers perfect detail recognition even in the toughest weather conditions when thermal contrast may be low. The smallest temperature differences are clearly visible whether in rain and fog or on cold mornings, under the most difficult conditions for thermal imaging cameras.

Lightweight and robust magnesium alloy housing

The body is made of a light magnesium alloy for high rigidity and robustness. The monocular scope's low weight makes it a perfect option for long excursions outdoors when a light yet powerful device is required.

Detection range of up to more than 1,350 meters

A powerful f/38 / 1.2 objective lens combined with a highly sensitive 384 x 288 @ 17 µm thermal imaging sensor provides exceptional detection capabilities. A 1.8m standard object can be detected in complete darkness from a distance of 1,350m.

Image Boost technology

Pulsar's proprietary Image Boost technology consists of software algorithms designed to improve image sharpness and overall image detail. Image Boost results in a sharper, more detailed field of view and improved object identification capabilities.

3 second start-up

Thanks to pioneering technology, the Axion switches on almost instantly. The quick start extends battery life and lengthens total operating time. At times when every second counts, the device can be activated quickly thanks to its instant start-up.

IPX7 completely waterproof

IPX7-rated completely waterproof for protection against heavy rain, snow or other precipitation. The device is designed to function perfectly even after being immersed in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.

HD AMOLED full colour display

The new HD display offers a clear, high-contrast and vivid-colour field of view. AMOLED technology ensures error-free, stable, high-resolution images and power savings.

Colour palette

The 8-colour palette improves the image displayed under varying conditions. While the classic White Hot mode is exceptionally versatile, Hot Black is often preferred for detecting wildlife at night. Red Monochrome reduces or prevents light from escaping from the eyepiece. Sepia often improves long-range observation, while Red Hot, Rainbow, and Ultramarine enhance the temperature differences between different object attributes. Violet helps to identify objects more quickly.

B-pack mini APS5 battery system

The quick-change high-capacity Li-Ion battery provides 5 hours of operation from a single charge. Quick and easy battery change combined with instant activation guarantees continuous and error-free observation. A normal power bank connected via a USB-C port can be used as an external power source.

Variable digital zoom from 3.5x to 14x

Up to 4 times digital zoom provides improved focus and better general object detection at greater distances. Featuring both 2x step zoom or continuous zoom to obtain a truly optimum, individual field of view for every situation.

Observation modes

Image optimisation should be performed depending on the location and environmental conditions. Mountains, town and forests all have different ambient temperatures. To achieve the highest possible image quality, certain settings have been optimised and grouped into profiles. This means that image optimisation under varying conditions is easier. The identification preset is another image optimisation option that facilitates identification, even over longer distances.

Picture-in-picture function

Picture-in-picture displays an enlarged image of 10% of the field of view in the upper section of the screen, to more precisely zoom in on the object being observed.
