The Omegon Triplet Apochromat is impressive with its exceptionally good workmanship. Precisely matching lens mounts as well as high-quality premium ED glass contribute to the extraordinary quality of this telescope.

The triplet ED optics allow colour fringing to be reduced to measurably less than for a doublet. The fully coated optics provide brilliant image definition and fantastic contrast, as one is only used to seeing from substantially more expensive apochromats.

Due to its short f/7 focal ratio, the 'little' brother of Omegon 127 series triplet apos is eminently suitable taking in air travel luggage as it is lightweight but nevertheless has excellent light gathering power. An aluminium 1:10 reduction ratio 2" Crayford focuser is included, giving feather-light focusing, as well as a 2" star diagonal with 99% reflection and an illuminated 8x50 finder scope providing an upright and non-reversed image.
