Guidescope Deluxe Mini 50mm Guide Scope with Helical Focuser

This finder scope is ideal for use as a guiding scope.

If you connect an autoguiding camera, you can automatically correct the mount’s tracking very effectively, provided the telescope’s focal length is not too long. The manufacturer recommends focal lengths of up to 1,500 millimetres.

Thanks to the helical focuser (worm gear), focusing the camera is very straightforward, as the focusing action does not cause the camera to rotate. The fast optics ensure a bright image across a wide field of view. This makes it quite easy to find a suitable guide star for tracking control. The Deluxe Mini AC 50/162 can be mounted as easily as a finder on a telescope and, thanks to its low weight, places hardly any strain on the mount. Just like a finder, the Deluxe Mini AC 50/162 can also be adjusted to the desired section of the sky using three screws on the guide scope rings.

With the Deluxe Mini AC 50/162, you get excellent value for money: a double-lens design with an air gap (Fraunhofer design) made from crown and flint glass, fully coated, of course!

Of course, you can also simply use the Deluxe Mini AC 50/162 as an optical finder if you don’t fancy doing astrophotography at the moment. An illuminated reticle eyepiece with a 20-millimetre focal length transforms the Mini Deluxe into an 8x50 finder.
