The image definition here has never previously been achieved by any other spotting scope, as the field flattener lenses produce a virtually flat image. Even the finest structures resolve razor sharp right to the edge so constant refocusing is not necessary. A highly innovative optical design using fluoride HD lenses reduces irritating colour fringing to a minimum. This ensures maximum colour fidelity and leads to significant improvements in resolution and contrast. Swarovision is characterized by a greater distance to the exit pupil. The removable screw-out eyecup can be adjusted individually. The result: even spectacle wearers can take in the entire field of view and enjoy the unique sharpness right up to the edge. Additional viewing comfort is provided for spectacle wearers with a specially developed eyecup. - Optimized coatings - Maximum colour fidelity
The enhanced coatings on the lenses and prisms (Swarodur, Swarotop) lead to a significantly improved colour reproduction with even higher light transmission. The Swaroclean surface coating on the outer lens surfaces has a non-stick effect, also making them easier to clean. Your observing will always remain exciting thanks to the wider field of view of ATX / STX spotting scopes. This new generation scope has a wide field of view despite the large zoom range. This allows optimum magnification and detail recognition and the looking for and finding of objects - especially when they are in motion - is made much easier by the wide field of view. - WITH JUST ONE HAND
Every second counts. For example, one moment a plover is running along the coastal sand and the next it takes to the air. ATX / STX spotting scopes are well prepared for moments such as these. The zoom ring has been newly positioned to lie just behind the focus ring, resulting in much better handling. You can now operate both zoom and focus with one hand, while using the other for the tripod. These completely new ergonomics, especially designed for the digiscoper, provide a decisive advantage: One hand can now quickly and easy operate the camera accurately, and the other can concentrate on the zooming and focusing. - EASY TO TRANSPORT
Every gram counts towards optical excellence. This is for all those who like to travel a lot, but do not want to have to carry extra hand luggage or take unnecessary weight on long treks. The ATX / STX series consigns cumbersome, difficult to pack and transport scopes to a thing of the past. The modular design makes it possible for objective and eyepiece sections to be packed separately. The more compact transport dimensions resulting mean the scope parts can now be more easily and securely packed.
