Microscopy

The modern microscopes in the EcoBlue series are specially designed for teaching purposes, with a focus on ergonomics and excellent value for money. These microscopes come with secured eyepieces, achromatic objectives and an adjustable rack stop to prevent damage to samples and objectives.

EYEPIECES • Wide field WF 10x /18mm eyepiece with pointer • Eyepieces for binocular and trinocular models are supplied without a pointer

TUBE • Monocular models have 45° inclined eyepiece • Binocular and trinocular models have 30° inclined tubes • The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 48 and 75mm • All binocular and trinocular models have a dioptre adjustment of ± 5 dioptres on the left tube • All heads are 360° rotatable • Models with an integrated USB 2.0 camera are supplied with a 5.0 MP 1/2” CMOS sensor with a resolution of 2560x1920 pixels • The EcoBlue can also be supplied with a discussion head

NOSEPIECE • Revolving 4-objective nosepiece on ball bearings • Models for polarisation are supplied with a swing-out analyser

45 MM PARFOCAL OBJECTIVES • Achromatic 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, S40x/0.65 and S100x/1.25 objectives • The S40x, S60x, and S100x oil immersion objectives are spring loaded • The HLED-S models for polarisation are equipped with semi-plan objectives • All objectives are anti-fungus treated and AR-coated to ensure maximum light throughput

FOCUS ADJUSTMENT • Coaxial coarse and fine focus adjustment, 200 graduations, 12.5 µm per graduation, 2.5mm per rotation, total travel approx. 15mm • Supplied with an adjustable rack stop to prevent damage to the sample and objectives

STAGE • 123x119mm with two non-removable object clamps (optional 51x26 mm X-Y mechanical stage available for the EC.9500) • Stage 123x128mm with integrated 70x27mm X-Y mechanical stage • The models for polarisation are supplied with a 129mm round stage, 360° rotatable, and 2 object clamps

CONDENSER • Height-adjustable Abbe condenser N.A. 1.25 with iris diaphragm and filter holder • Models for polarisation have a rack and pinion adjustment, all other models have a spiral adjustment

ILLUMINATION combined NeoLED • Monocular models are supplied with an adjustable 1W LED illumination with integrated power supply • Binocular and trinocular models are supplied with an adjustable 1W NeoLED™ illumination system for increased light output • EC.1151, EC.1152, EC.1153, EC.1652 and EC.1653 are supplied with rechargeable batteries and an external 100-240V battery charger/mains adapter • The polarisation models are equipped with H-LED illumination for correct colour rendering (very similar to the halogen light spectrum) with integrated 100-240V power supply, no batteries

ANTI-THEFT SLOT • A Kensington security slot is located on the back of the microscope to allow the instrument to be protected from theft

PACKAGE CONTENTS • Includes power cable or AC adapter/charger, white filter, dust cover, spare fuse, user manual and 5 ml immersion oil for models with an S100x objective • The EcoBlue models with external AC adapter and X-Y stage (EC.1x5x) are supplied with three rechargeable AA batteries • All packed in a polystyrene box

DIGITAL MODELS CAMERA • All EcoBlue digital microscopes are equipped with a 5.0 MP CMOS USB 2.0 camera • Maximum resolution 2560x1920, 24-bit colour depth, up to 30 frames per second • ImageFocus Plus software included, USB 2.0 cable and micrometre 1mm/100 slides Camera supplied with a 2-year warranty

SOFTWARE • Supplied with ImageFocus Plus for capturing images and videos • ImageFocus Plus capture and analysis software can store images in JPG, TIF, BMP, and videos in AVI format. • This software also enables comprehensive analysis, such as measurements on still and live images and annotations on captured images • Images can be annotated and measurements taken on live or captured images • Compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11, 32- and 64-bit configurations • A Mac OS Light version is also available for image capture • Updates can be downloaded from our website under www.euromex.com
