Moravian Filter Wheel CCD-EFW-2S-10 for G2 series cameras
The wheel holds ten unmounted 36 mm filters and is compatible with the Moravian Off-Axis-Guider, making it perfect for LRGB and narrowband photography.
Many astrophotographers prefer a system with all filter combinations. This usually consists of 3x narrowband ([O III], H-alpha, [S II]) and LRGB filters. This filter wheel allows you to accommodate 3 additional filters. As manual filter changes are no longer necessary, this combination is ideal for remote operation.
Easy adaptation: The camera and filter wheel are extremely short when combined. The total back focus is only 33.5 mm from the camera sensor to the front outer edge of the filter wheel housing.
The filter wheel is powered and controlled via an RJ45 plug from the camera.
The filter wheel itself is screwed directly to the camera. The back focus is still sufficient to use telephoto lenses with the EOS EF adaptor. This gives you the option of working with high-quality lenses.
Required software: The filter wheel is controlled using the SIPS software supplied or with the drivers for MaximDL or AstroArt.
