With the Oregon Scientific rain gauge, you can conveniently monitor local rainfall from the comfort of your living room and only take action when your plants need additional watering.
Display the daily rainfall or the cumulative value for the past 9 days. The instrument not only has a daily maximum rainfall alarm, but also disposes of collected rainwater via the self-emptying rain container.
For example, measure how much water you use to water your lawn or find out how much rain the last storm brought to your home. A scale with 1 mm increments allows you to measure precisely how much rain falls in your garden. The data collected is transmitted to the base station via radio signal at a distance of up to 100 m.
With the included thermosensor, you can keep an eye on the outside temperature as well as the amount of rain. This allows you to care for your plants in the best possible way.
