Rotator Falcon V2

The PegasusAstro Falcon Rotator V2 is a lightweight image field rotator with a low profile. Don't be fooled by its small size! It can handle heavy astrophotography equipment with extreme precision! It is very easy to control with ASCOM drivers or the PegasusAstro standalone software, allowing you to adjust your camera position remotely with the highest accuracy (0.0625 degrees/step).

The effective height of this image field rotator is only 18 mm. Both connections of the rotator are M68 threads (female). A USB cable is included in the delivery.

A powerful gear step motor with low backlash ensures that the rotator always locks into the intended rotation angles. The mechanics in the focuser guarantee absolute rigidity at every angle during a full 360° rotation.

The rotator is fully supported by ASCOM and INDI.

This is a robust and modern software solution that centrally supports current and future PegasusAstro products. The modern front-end enables control of all PegasusAstro instruments.
In addition, a REST-JSON API helps third-party software developers to interact with PegasusAstro products. The Unity Platform is constantly being expanded and improved.
