Product description

Shortest possible adaptation without glass path corrector: On long focal length telescopes (f/10 or slower), it is advisable to screw the binocular head firmly to the diagonal mirrors. This allows for a very short adaptation.

To do this, you need the T-2 locking ring and bino adjustment ring to adapt the MaxBright® II. Remove the T2 cap nut or the ring swan from the MaxBright® II binocular. Then screw the locking ring onto the external thread of the T2 prism and place the bino adjustment ring between the binocular and the locking ring. The small raised section must face the binocular and the smooth side must face the diagonal prism. Now screw the binocular onto the prism and fix it in the desired position with the locking ring. The binocular adjustment ring ensures that you can still adjust the eye relief of the binocular.

If the lever of the locking ring ends up in an awkward position, you can adjust its position. It is only screwed into the ring; you can move it to any of the three threaded holes offset by 120°.
