Adapter for decoupling the focuser from the primary mirror cell

The simple yet robust design of the 8"-GSO-RC telescopes with a solid tube can mean that collimation becomes a complicated and time-consuming procedure, particularly for inexperienced users. The problem is usually caused by the rigid connection between the primary mirror cell and the focuser.

This adaptor solves the problem: the focuser is no longer attached to the primary mirror cell, but to the adaptor, which is screwed onto the rear wall of the telescope. The focuser is screwed onto the M90 thread (identical to the original thread). Using the integrated tilting adaptor, the focuser can therefore first be precisely aligned, and the primary mirrors can then be adjusted independently of them.
