Amici prism suitable for ETX-90 and ETX-125
Telescopes in the ETX series feature a flip mirror unit. The flip mirror deflects the light by 90°, allowing you to look comfortably into the eyepiece for astronomical observations. The telescope shows celestial objects upright, but reversed.
The reversed image is not a problem for astronomy, but is of course undesirable for terrestrial observation. This accessory ensures a correct image orientation. In addition, the 45° viewing angle is much more comfortable for observing the Earth. The Amici prism is simply screwed onto the rear of the folding mirror unit and the mirror is folded down. You can use the same eyepieces that you use for astronomical observation.
