A Barlow lens lets you increase the focal length of your telescope and hence the magnification. The Barlow lens is placed between the telescope and the eyepiece.
The Nomad telecentric focal length extension is a high-quality optical accessory with a wide range of uses for visual and photographic applications.
Visual use: When used as a Barlow lens with an eyepiece for visual use, it increases the magnification of any eyepiece for detailed observations of celestial objects such as the moon or planets. It is constructed with high-quality glass elements and coatings to minimise light loss and maximise clarity. To secure the eyepiece, it is equipped with a brass clamping ring and clamping screw to prevent damage to the eyepiece.
Photographic use: The 4-lens premium design enables images without colour shifts across the entire photographic field. It is ideal for spectacular, high-resolution photos of planetary surfaces or details of the moon's surface without compromising the quality of the telescope. In other words, it preserves the apochromatic performance of your ED Apo telescope! A camera can be connected directly via the included adaptor. For a DSLR camera, you will also need the appropriate adaptor from M48x0.75 to the camera bayonet.
