The Outdoor Club All Season Camouflage Tarpaulin Tent is a universal photo tent that is ready for use as soon as it is taken out of its case thanks to its pop-up system. We have chosen a camouflage pattern in shades of green, brown and grey to make the tent versatile. The tent has a T-shaped photo opening at eye level on 3 sides. This gives you the flexibility to open the opening large or small, left or right. On the inside of these T-zippers is an insect net that keeps unwanted insects out as much as possible. You look past your lens or over your lens to keep an eye on your surroundings. This means you can also use these windows on the left and right as additional viewing windows. To better seal the tent against precipitation, no additional peepholes are provided.
There is a tripod opening at the front that can be closed with a zip. If necessary, you can extend your outer tripod leg through the opening to create more space in your tent. The interior of the tent is completely black to make it as dark as possible. Of course, birds and/or mammals should not be able to see you when you are in the tent. Dark clothing is therefore recommended. Gloves and a mask to camouflage your hands and face may also be useful.
Inside the camouflage tent, there is enough space to sit comfortably, place your bag or backpack next to you and, of course, set up your tripod with camera. The back of the tent can be opened wide using a high-quality zip. Incidentally, all zips are fitted with cords so that they do not make any noise. The door then hangs nicely on the side and does not fall to the ground. The lines and zips on the inside of the tent are neon green so that they are easy to find and operate even in the dark.
The tent fabric is made of a robust and waterproof material (polyester 150D). You will stay dry in rain/showers thanks to the water column of 2,500 mm. The photo windows are of course not waterproof, but can be closed with a zip. Weather resistance and colour may deteriorate slightly with prolonged use (months or even longer outdoors). The photo tent is therefore perfect for short-term use.
Perfect camouflage
Camouflaging yourself with a photo tent is the best way to successfully photograph animals in nature, as birds and mammals behave naturally. It is important that the animals do not see or recognise us as humans or as a threat and therefore do not feel threatened. The Outdoor Club All Season Camouflage Hide offers the option of adding extra camouflage such as branches, reeds and so on. These extras can be attached to the outside with the strings. If you do this correctly, your hide will blend in even better with the surroundings! Another option is to use an additional camouflage net. With this pop-up tent, you are quickly and perfectly camouflaged.
Preparation and setting up
When setting up your photo tent, make use of the existing vegetation as much as possible so that the tent and its surroundings blend in as well as possible. It is best to do this one or more days in advance so that the animals can get used to the situation. If necessary, the tent can be secured with the tent pegs and guy ropes provided. Thanks to its strong spring steel construction, the tent is easy to set up and take down again. As soon as you take the tent out of its cover, it stands up by itself. Folding it up is also easy.
