This accessory is not a real eyepiece, as it does not contain any optics. However, it is inserted into the focuser like an eyepiece and allows you to adjust a Newtonian telescope in daylight, making it ideal for preparing for a night of observing.
The special feature of Aline are the microprism retroreflectors on the inside. Thanks to this highly reflective coating, adjustment is possible even in advanced twilight. The scope of delivery also includes a special centre mark for the primary mirror, which reflects better than the marks normally found on telescope mirrors. If your Newtonian telescope does not have a centre mark on the mirror, you can now use the Aline mark.
