The map uses the "Classic" cartography of the National Geographic Maps Division. This cartography is essentially political. Physical information is indicated by shading.
This political map of the continent of North America impresses with its accuracy and attention to detail from National Geographic. All country borders, major cities, main roads, mountains, bodies of water and lakes in North America are marked. A map section shows the Aleutian Islands and the coast of Alaska in great detail.
This laminated map can be written on with water-soluble pens. Self-adhesive stickers can also be applied and removed again.
The map is protected on both sides by a 0.07 mm thick, glossy polyester film.
The map is delivered rolled up in a plastic tube.
