Dew Shield MCX102

A replacement protective cap considerably delays fogging of the front correction plate of a Maksutov or Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Since most nights in Europe are humid, the dew shield is a very important accessory.

The dew shield also blocks stray light from the side and protects the correction plate from accidental contact and scratches.

This fixed exchange cap is screwed onto the internal thread in the tube. This makes it sit very securely.
