Zenith mirrors deflect light beams within the telescope to enable a better view. Relaxed observation using a refracting telescope (refractor), a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope or a Maksutov telescope is only possible using a zenith mirror.
Zenith mirrors are simply inserted or screwed into the telescope’s drawtube. At the other end, they can accommodate the socket of an eyepiece. The usual socket dimensions of 1.25” and 2” come into play here.
When connecting a camera, the zenith mirror can be removed.
QuickLock system: The clamp with large knurled screw - which can also be operated safely with gloves - clamps the plug-in sleeve centrally without leaving ugly marks.
