The EXOS-2 is a solid mount with high load capacity: up to 13kg heavy optics visually, photographically up to 10kg.
Double radial deep groove ball bearings in both axes ensure precise operation and the optimized storage of RA axes can hardly match. Furthermore, these very stable, precision-machined mount enables an inexpensive entry into astrophotography.
The EXOS-2 GoTo is equipped with tracking motors in both axes, tracking astronomical objects accurately and on top of that can be positioned up to 4.5 ° / S. The hand box with GoTo function controls the mount accurately and reliably. Precision gears on both axes allow operation with minimum backlash in all of the nine possible speeds. The battery pack is easily attached to the tray table and takes eight D-size batteries on.
