This highend version of the famous CEM60 comes with high precision encoder and sub-arcsecond PE! (Realtime periodic error correction)
The ingenious concept from iOptron – low centre of gravity for greater stability and less vibration – now also available for large payloads!
The special design of iOptron allows relatively light and portable mounts for heavy instruments. The CEM60 carries large optics for astrophotography stably and vibration-free. Alignment to the celestial pole is particularly easy with this design, as the pole finder is not obscured by the declination axis in any position.
Some features:
- Precision stepper motor with 0.06 arc second accuracy
- Worm gear in right ascension and declination axes made of aluminium with 288 teeth each
- Calibrated pole finder with dark field illumination and simple polar alignment procedure. If the North Star is not visible, the mount offers a special alignment procedure. The mount can also be finely adjusted in azimuth.
- Go2Nova 8407+ hand control box with Advanced GOTONOVA® GOTO Technology, including GPS and large database
- An aluminium case is included in the scope of delivery.
