Equipped with the original Opinel children's carving knife and a block of lime wood, you can start on your first project straight away. Before you know it, you'll have carved a little boat. Now all you need to do is attach the mast and the fabric sail, and your sailing boat is ready to play with. A particularly clever feature is that the sail can even be gathered with string and adjusted to different positions.
The instructions show step by step how children can safely learn the basics of carving and provide lots of ideas for what can be made with their own finds from nature.
