Very high viewing comfort
The Planetary Duo eyepieces were created for maximum sharpness and contrast on the optical axis and offer very high viewing comfort for long observations, which is not always possible with planetary eyepieces.
16 mm eye relief
The large eye relief can be perfectly utilised thanks to the reversible eyecup, allowing every observer to find their ideal position. These eyepieces are also perfect for spectacle wearers.
Excellent image contrast
On the axis, the image is almost perfect, like an excellent orthoscopic eyepiece. The sharpness is not significantly worse - in fact, it is present throughout the entire field of view, making these eyepieces comparable to many orthoscopic eyepieces, if not superior to them.
No kidney bean effect
The kidney bean effect is the defect of not being able to see the image when you move your gaze away from the optical axis.
Cheap eyepieces usually suffer from this flaw, but it is not present in the Planetary Duo series.
