Lunt Solar Systems does everything possible to optimise the quality of all optical components for solar observation!
The eyepieces in this series feature the same anti-reflection coating as the etalons from Lunt Solar Systems. This reduces effects such as ghost images and ensures a darker background than is the case with normal eyepieces. In addition, the eyepieces are equipped with a height-adjustable eyecup to block stray light from entering from the side and help you find the optimal position for your eyes.
Although the H-Alpha optimised eyepieces are optimised for the red end of the spectrum, they can of course also be used for night-time observations.
