Omegon Panorama 100° Eyepiece - Your Picture Window on the Night Sky
A field of view which never seems to end: One could so describe the impression which one gets from the view through 100° Omegon eyepieces. Tunnel vision through a telescope belongs to eyepiece designs of the past. Experience a completely new observing experience with a genuine 'space walk' effect. At first, the edges of the field of view are not really visible, letting you look around as if you are floating in space yourself.

The new 100° Omegon Panorama eyepieces are designed to provide you with a neutral image, with crisp edges and a sharp field of view. In addition, they are optimized for fast Newtonian telescopes with aperture ratios of up to f/5.
All six lens elements incorporated are provided with a light green multi-coating. The high light transmission of the lenses provides a bright image, even at higher magnifications. Omegon 100° eyepieces have very low field curvature, a feature which is makes observing with them even more pleasant. For comparison: many 100° eyepieces from other manufacturers exhibit large to very large field curvatures.
The different focal lengths are parfocal with each other, so you only have to focus once. You will hardly ever have to refocus when inserting another eyepiece from this series.
It is not only about the inner qualities
Everyone has different viewing habits. The physiology of the eye and the eye socket also play an important role. The rubber eyecups can be unfolded upwards.
All Panorama 100° eyepieces are equipped with a handy rubber grip. This means that even with gloves on in winter you can keep the eyepieces firmly in your grasp. The body of the eyepiece is anodized in black to prevent unwanted reflections. The 2“ filter threads on the barrel have been specially hardened to prevent any loss of material from abrasion, as can happen with 'normal' aluminium housings.
Save weight
Omegon Panorama eyepieces have a particularly low weight and have been designed to be as compact as possible. This means you can use them even with smaller telescopes. Many Dobsonian telescopes have problems counterbalancing very heavy 100° eyepieces, but with the Panorama eyepieces this is not a problem. You also save space in your accessories case with these compact eyepieces.
