12.5mm reticle (4 lens elements) with good eye relief
A good medium focal length reticle is sufficient for most photographic purposes. The crosshair is a Ploessl design, giving relatively good eye relief and a good depth of field.
Stepless brightness control:
A bright guide star is not always available, so one often has to make do with a very faint star. The brightness of the crosshair is infinitely adjustable for exactly this reason.
Independent crosshair focusing:
The independent focusing provided means guiding without your spectacles on is no problem. You can optimally focus the crosshair to achieve maximum precision.
