The focal length reducer is a practical accessory. It reduces the telescope’s effective focal length, thereby providing a wider field of view. In astrophotography, the shorter focal length can also significantly reduce the required exposure times.
The optical element consists of an achromatic doublet with FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) coating, which reduces reflections on the glass surfaces and ensures good light transmission.
The focal length reducer can be screwed directly into the filter thread of compatible 1.25-inch eyepieces or cameras. In addition, 1.25-inch filters can be attached to the underside of the reducer. This allows the accessories to be flexibly combined with various optical components.
