Riccardi Reducer and Flattener 0.75x

The reducer has been designed for standard triplet apochromats. It reduces the focal length by 1/4 and increases the light intensity accordingly. Thanks to its large lenses, this reducer is capable of fully illuminating even full-frame sensors.

Required back focus when the reducer is screwed onto the focuser tube: The corrector shifts the focus further in. The reducer has a housing diameter of 90 mm. To sink the reducer into the focuser, the focuser tube must be thicker than 90 mm, such as all 3.5" Feather Touch focusers from Starlight Instruments. Then you will definitely have no problems finding the focus. However, if the reducer is screwed onto the focuser tube, you will need about 210 mm of back focus from the connection thread of your focuser. If you do not necessarily want to go full frame, the smaller reducer is an alternative.
