The focuser is attached to every telescope near the focal point of the light-gathering optics. As the name suggests, eyepieces can be inserted into the focuser. For astrophotography, focusers hold cameras and bring them into focus. This is why they are also referred to as focusers instead of eyepiece focusers.
This focuser is specially designed for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes from Celestron and Meade. It can be easily screwed onto the SC thread. The focuser is particularly light and therefore puts very little strain on the mount. Nevertheless, it can carry accessories weighing up to five kilograms and allows precise focusing. The focus can be locked in place with a clamping screw.
The mount for the 2" barrel extensions for eyepieces, diagonal mirrors and cameras can be unscrewed. The M54 thread behind it allows cameras to be screwed on. You will also find a matching field rotator in the accessories. If you screw this onto the focuser, you can rotate the accessories by 360°. This is particularly important in astrophotography in order to select the best image section.
