The importance of good focusers for stress-free observation and successful astrophotography is often underestimated. The focuser is the part of the telescope that is moved most frequently – and is therefore subject to the greatest wear and tear. At the same time, the focuser must be able to move eyepieces or cameras with the utmost precision without slipping or tilting. The new generation of Omegon focusers achieves these goals by combining state-of-the-art linear bearing technology with the precision of helical gears.
This combination of high-precision linear bearings with hardened guideways and the convenience of helical gear technology achieves shift-free focusing with high rigidity that was previously unavailable in this price range.

Large free aperture for vignetting-free observation and photography. The large 76 mm (3") aperture of the focuser reliably prevents vignetting in the image caused by shading at the front end of the focuser tube. This allows even large sensors to be well illuminated without dark areas or increased image noise in the corners.
This focuser comes complete with adapters for 2" barrel and M117x1 thread adaptors, suitable for Omegon RC telescopes from 10"/250 mm upwards. We offer adaptors for larger accessories, so please feel free to contact us.
