The focuser is attached to every telescope near the focal point of the light-gathering optics. As the name suggests, eyepieces can be inserted into the focuser. For astrophotography, focusers hold cameras and bring them into focus. This is why they are also referred to as focusers instead of eyepiece focusers.
The 3" V-Power focuser is ideal for Newtonian telescopes. You will also need a suitable adaptor (base) that fits the diameter of your telescope.
The inner tube accepts 3" accessories along its entire length, with no bottlenecks blocking the passage.
The focuser is ideal for DIY enthusiasts and hobbyists, but also suitable for upgrading existing telescopes. The bases are linked in the accessories section. With the base, the focuser is assembled as follows:
- 85 mm to the M82x1 internal thread at the innermost extension position
- 103 mm to the 2" plug-in sleeve at the innermost extension position
The extension tube does not protrude into the interior of the tube.
